In 2002, Classic Design Services acquired FabriGuard.
Since its founding in 1985, FabriGuard has provided homeowners and the design community with professional cleaning and protection
of fine upholstery, draperies, carpets and rugs. The combination allows us to offer our
customers more service options; in home, prior to delivery, in conjunction with a move,
or while in storage.
In 2003, we acquired Vintage Transport Services, a well known long distance business
with a large and loyal nationwide customer base. The acquisition of Vintage allows us to offer
one of the best full service platforms in the country for fine furniture manufacturers, antique dealers
and the design trade. We now provide regular nationwide long distance services
in addition to our established designer installation and home move services.
Also in 2003, we launched our CV Fine Art Services division, enabling us to offer specialized services
including fine art installation, museum quality custom crating, technical packing, and professional
art handling.
In 2004, Classic Furniture Delivery (CFD) brought its clients into Classic Design Services.
CFD had operated in the Atlanta area for over 15 years serving several high-end specialty
furniture retailers and interior designers in North Georgia with receiving, warehousing,
delivery, installation and fabric protection services.
Today, the Classic Companies provide a complete service package through our four
operating divisions: Classic Design Services, Vintage Transport, CV Fine Art Services
and FabriGuard. All of the Classic Companies are located in Atlanta. Additionally,
Classic Design Services and Vintage Transport provide services from our Phoenix location.
